Meet Flap Jack!

Flap Jack came to RDR after tragically losing his owner at 7-8 yrs old. Understandably, hes confused and sad as he adjusts to this huge change. He is used to living in with a single owner with few visitors.

At 25 lbs, Flap Jack is currently working on a weight-management and exercise plan with a goal of losing about 58 lbs. No one told Flap hes carrying extra weight. He still likes to run and be on the go. Once he bonds with you, he wants nothing more than to be by your side 24/7. He is experiencing some separation anxiety right now and will need a patient adopter who understands that he has been through a lot.

Flap Jack is overwhelmed by children and teens, so we are looking for an experienced, adult-only home—ideally a quiet home without children visiting regularly. A single person or couple who is ready to give him the time, patience, structure, and love he deserves would be ideal.

He may need some time to decompress and learn that his person isnt going anywhere, but once he trusts you, he is ready to be your little shadow.
