DESCRIPTION
Sam is a 3 month old, 4 pound, Chihuahua, Minature Dachshund, and Shiba Inu mix. Sam loves to bake in the sun like a mini potato, play with toys, and play with his brother. He is also respectful of the senior little dogs in his home. He hasn't met any cats but would probably respond well to boundaries set by a cat friend. He is working hard on his potty and crate training! Sam is current on his vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $350. ABOUT: DACHSHUND DOG BREED
The dachshund is a small dog breed known for its long body, short legs, and distinctive appearance. Originally bred for hunting badgers, these playful and loyal dogs make loving companions for families. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired each with its own unique charm. Despite their size, dachshunds are bold and courageous, with a curious nature that can sometimes lead to mischief. Their endearing personality and adaptability make them popular pets worldwide.
The Shiba Inu is a small to medium sized dog breed known for its fox like appearance, with a curled tail and upright ears. Originating from Japan, Shiba Inus are independent, alert, and spirited dogs. They are loyal to their families but can be reserved around strangers. Recognized for their bold and confident nature, Shiba Inus require consistent training and socialization to thrive. With a thick double coat and a distinct red, sesame, or black and tan coloration, Shiba Inus are charming companions for active individuals or families.
