Hi all, I am Max- Supa Max ( I am a B.I.G. Boi..) I am new to rescue and am really excited to be here. See, my human got really sick and had to go to a nursing home. His brother tried to keep me, but was not interested in keeping me. Fortunately, he reached out to this really cool Rescue, and, well, here I am.

Yes, I am a chunky hunk. But my foster parents have put me on food restriction. Not real happy about that, and I let them know daily I am not pleased…. 😊 However, instead of food, they give me lots of belly scritches. Plus I have lost about 3 pounds, and I really do feel better. I can now hike my leg to pee. And I don’t struggle with the doggie door.

I do have accidents-foster mom thinks it is because I have been so fat for so long that it was just easier for me to do my business in the house. Right now, Foster Dad takes me outside in the morning to do my business, otherwise, I will pee and poo in the house. I am sure with some patience and training, I will have less.

I have not been tested with cats. I am for sure, not fond of young children. They have way too much energy for me. I am ok on a leash.

Since I was a baby, my dad was always at home. This is why Foster mom says my ideal home would be someone who is retired or works from home.

I love being in a warm lap, and I have to sleep in the big bed at night. If I am not snuggled close to my human, I will sing the song of my people all night until I am allowed in the bed.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Foster Mom at the above email. She does ask that you give her time to respond as she works a lot.
