Phoebe came to us very scared of humans. She would only come out of her shell when her dog companions were around. Then she would run and play and have fun. But as soon as a human talked to or focused on her she would run away and try to hide. It was hard to get her to eat unless the humans left the room and another dog was around. Over the course of a week she has significantly improved, but she will still require a very patient, slow-moving, quiet presence to win her over. And maybe a confident dog friend as well. She is a doll and it would be such a blessing to win her trust.
