Lady - Dachshund Dog for Adoption in Elk Grove, California

Lady is a very affectionate dachshund who is desperately looking for her forever home. She was recently surrendered by her owner who could no longer care for her. She is currently in a foster home with other dogs and is doing well. She will be bit skittish at first then gradually warm up to you and by the end of the day she will not leave your side, lap, and will not stop wanting to kiss you. Lady uses pee pads in the house and is learning to go outside. She walks well on the leash but will sometimes bark at other dogs. She sleeps well through the night in a dog bed. All of this change is going to require some patience and lots of love. She is a very lovable little girl and has just been a bit scared and overwhelmed by all these sudden changes. Lady is ready for her forever home. If you are looking for that canine companionship. she is your girl. She is fully vaccinated and has just had a dental.
