Happy - Dachshund Dog for Adoption in Dawson, Georgia

This adorable youngster is Happy, a dachshund mix less than a year old. He was picked up by animal control as a stray and not reclaimed. His name says it all - he is one HAPPY dog. He actually smiles at you. He loves everyone, his tail never stops wagging, he gives hugs and just wants to be where ever there are people and other pets are. He has an excellent temperament. He would be great for a home with kids or someone looking a dog to take where ever they go -he has that kind of personality that fits in anywhere with anyone. Happy is up to date with shots, heartworm negative/on prevention, neutered, crate trained and knows some basic commands. All he needs now is a forever home! We do allow out of state adoptions. However, we do not ship nor transport sight unseen pets for many reasons. We require travel in person adoption.
