Oddy - Dachshund and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Cookeville, Tennessee

ODDY

Dachshund, Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Cookeville, Tennessee
June 18th
male, small, young

DESCRIPTION

Oddy came from a hoarding situation and is a very scared boy. He will need a home that can be patient and understanding that he will take time to warm up. He is very prone to trying to run away and climb chain link fences. A privacy fence is preferred. He may bite out of fear if approached too quickly and before he is ready, so no young children in the home for him. Once he opens up he is a sweet playful pup. We would love a home that is willing to actively work on socialization and building confidence. It will be a slow process, but we know Oddy is just waiting for the proper love and structure to really shine.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
