Meet Ted — or as his friends like to call him, Teddy Bear 🐻

Ted is the definition of a gentle, easygoing companion. This sweet little guy isn’t looking for a high-energy lifestyle — he’s happiest simply being by your side. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch or enjoying some fresh air outside, Ted will be right there, quietly keeping you company and checking in to make sure you’re close.

He’s wonderfully low-maintenance and has impeccable manners. Ted has great house manners, walks beautifully on leash, and does great out and about — even in busy, dog-friendly stores. He’s also an excellent car rider, calmly sitting in his seat like the perfect passenger.

Ted isn’t much for toys or rough-and-tumble play, but what he lacks in playfulness he more than makes up for in loyalty and affection. His favorite place is right next to his person. Because of his laid-back nature, he would thrive in a quieter home — ideally with someone looking for a calm, devoted companion.

When it comes to other dogs and cats, Ted can coexist just fine but prefers his space and doesn’t seek out interaction. He communicates clearly and respectfully if he needs a little room. He may enjoy a calm canine companion, but he’d also be perfectly happy soaking up all the love as your one and only.

One thing to know: Ted loves food. After likely going without in the past, mealtime is his favorite event of the day! He’s very treat-motivated and eager to learn, already knowing “sit” and working on “leave it.” A slow feeder and a little structure around meals will help him continue to thrive.
