Mayte is the definition of easygoing. This sweet little girl has a wonderfully calm, go-with-the-flow personality that makes her an easy fit for so many different homes. Whether the house is busy with visitors or enjoying a quiet evening in, Mayte takes it all in stride with her gentle, steady nature.

She has done beautifully with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, reading body language well and settling into her foster pack almost immediately. She's respectful, social, and wonderfully polite with other dogs, but she would also be perfectly happy as the only pup in the home.

Mayte loves her people and enjoys affection and cuddle time, but she also has an independent side and is happy to tuck herself into her crate for a little quiet downtime. She enjoys routine and clearly takes comfort in knowing what to expect, in fact, she's so delightfully organized that she happily puts herself to bed each evening.

While she's more of a low-energy companion, Mayte still enjoys her daily walks, outdoor time, and the occasional adorable burst of morning zoomies. She's even just starting to discover the joy of toys and playtime, which has been so fun to watch.
