Meet Rocco
Breed: Corgi Mix | Age: 5.5 years | Size: ~48 lbs

Rocco may not be your traditional Corgi, but he has plenty of personality packed into his unique little package! He's a very sweet and intelligent boy who loves meeting new people and will often greet them by flopping over for belly rubs.
Rocco is an incredibly playful guy who can spend hours playing before finally admitting he's tired. He loves snow but would happily skip a rainy day. He's not especially treat-motivated, but offer him a little people food and you'll quickly have his attention!
Rocco is quiet-he only recently discovered that barking is a thing-and he's not a huge fan of fun-loving families. He enjoys getting pets but will happily bounce off to do his own thing when you're finished. He absolutely loves his crate and is crate-trained.
Rocco is excellent off-leash and very responsive to a whistle, although he can be extremely stubborn when he has other ideas! He currently lives successfully with a cat and does well with children.
Rocco has had a negative experience with another dog in the past and can be nervous around dogs, particularly those who are overbearing. He is not a fan of other herding breeds, so careful introductions and a dog-savvy home would be important.
Rocco's Ideal Home:
A home with a fenced yard where he can run, play, and burn off his energy, plus plenty of opportunities to spend time with kids who want a fun four-legged playmate.
