Holly - Corgi and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption

Meet Holly! At 3 years old and clocking in at 21lbs, she has graduated from land-shark puppyhood into a sweet, loyal, and endlessly entertaining companion. She loves nothing more than following her favorite humans from room to room, ensuring no one is ever left unattended. She is equal parts inquisitive and cozy. She is still getting the hang of her leash but loves being outside with her people and by evening, she is a professional-grade cuddler who will happily melt right into your lap! If you're looking for a best friend with the cutest ears and the biggest heart, you've found her!

Holly is currently being fostered in Staten Island NY. Her adoption fee is $550.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

The Corgi breed, known for its distinctive short legs and long body, is beloved for its playful and affectionate nature. Originating in Wales, these intelligent dogs excel in various roles, from herding to family pets. With a sociable disposition and keen intelligence, Corgis thrive on companionship and mental stimulation. Their adaptability to different living environments makes them popular choices for families and individuals alike, making Corgis a cherished and lively addition to households around the world.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
