Frank was found along side a county road in Cullman County Alabama. He was dragging a chain behind him that was attached to an oversized collar. He was dirty and underweight when he was found and taken to our local veterinarian. He is now healthy and has put on weight and has had a bath. He is having his teeth cleaned and his mouth treated this coming week. His bottom teeth had been worn down from chewing on, most likely, his chain and or whatever it was attached to. That's how he must have gotten free. Frank has one blue eye but no worries he can see from both eyes ... hence his name Frank, as in, "old blue eyes" Frank Sinatra. He is happily living in home with multiple dogs and I believe one outside cat. He seems to favor his foster father over his foster Mom, but he loves them both. He loves to cuddle and will sleep up side down on his favorite dogbed. He is good with young children. He loves to play fetch with a ball. He can be protective of his food in his dog bowl at feeding time. He would love to be the only dog in your family and soak up all your love and attention. Please consider sharing your home and family with this sweet fellow. He has clearly had a tough life before being taken in by our small animal rescue group. Although at one time, he must have had a loving home. He is just too loving to have not know love and attention at one time in his life.
Frank has had all his vaccinations, is heartworm negative and is microchipped as well as being parasite free and shortly, a teeth cleaning. We are estimating Frank to be 6 years old...he may be older, he may be younger.
