September - Coonhound and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Mount Pleasant, Iowa

September is approximately 6 months old and a Coonhound mix. The more time we spend with her, the more we fall in love with her personality. She is incredibly sweet, a little submissive, and still gaining confidence as she gets comfortable.

She's already getting much better with the leash and shows a real desire to learn. We think basic obedience will come easily for her with some patient guidance and consistency. She also loves doing laps around the yard and has plenty of puppy energy to keep up with an active family. ??

September has done well around the other dogs here without showing reactivity. Her finder did report that she chased cats and chickens outside, so a home with livestock may not be the best fit. We can cat test her here for anyone interested in seeing how she does with cats.
