Boone is a handsome 10-year-old Coonhound with a gentle soul and so much love to give. When he came to us, he had clearly been neglectedhe was very underweight and his nails were so overgrown that they made it difficult for him to walk comfortably. Despite everything he's been through, Boone has remained incredibly sweet and trusting.

This lovable senior absolutely adores attention and is happiest when he's spending time with his people. He is very well-mannered, easygoing, and a joy to be around. Don't let his age fool youBoone still gets around great and enjoys exploring, sniffing, and soaking up all the love he can get.

Unfortunately, Boone tested positive for heartworms and has already begun treatment. He'll need a family willing to support him through the rest of his recovery, but we know he's worth it.
