Meet Hot Pocket, a member of the Texas Lunch Box crew! Hot Pocket is a big-hearted, silly pup whose main mission in life is simple: to make you smile.
This playful boy is always ready for fun, whether it's running around, sniffing the flowers (literally, he is a huge fan of flowers), or leaning into some well-earned head scratches. He's a big baby who just wants to be close to his people, and fair warning... Hot Pocket doesn't really have an "off" button when it comes to affection He thrives on attention and will do best in a home that can give him structure and guidance as he learns the basics, including how to settle and entertain himself.
At bedtime, he might let out a few little whines if his human isn't nearby, but once he realizes the house is settling down, he gets cozy goes to bed no problem. If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate companion, Hot Pocket is here to save the day!

Hot Pocket is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 05/01/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven't arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Visit our Foster to Adopt Program page to learn more. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start's veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.

In addition to their remarkable abilities, shepherds are often characterized by their distinctive appearance, including a sturdy build, alert expression, and a signature double coat that provides insulation and protection in various climates.
