Hi! I’m Wylie, a stupendous boy with a unique set of squares on my fur! I'm fun, loving, and curious, and would make a GREAT hiking buddy!! I've lived plenty of lives within my 2-year tenure, ranging from the Texas heat to the ranches of FoCo! I've decided to come closer to Denver to fulfill my dream of being a suburban boy.
I'm great with other dogs, making me a great plus-one. I'm already housetrained and ready to sleep on your cozy bed! I would likely be ok with confident cats, given a very slow and careful introduction. I like to chase birds and squirrels, so I would prefer a place where I don't have to deal with those pesky guys!!! I don't cuddle a whole lot, as my love-language is acts-of-service. If you feed me, give me plenty of exercise, and protect me from scary things, I'll provide endless giggles, zoomies, and picture-perfect moments in return!
As if I wasn't perfect enough, I have made a complete recovery from Heartworm! With help from Animal Friends Alliance and some very kind people, I have finished all my injections and am ready to go on and live my best life!!
ABOUT: COLLIE DOG BREED
The Collie is a graceful and intelligent dog known for their loyalty, gentle nature, and exceptional herding abilities. They come in two coat varieties, rough and smooth, with colors ranging from sable and white to blue merle. Collies excel in obedience training and thrive on mental stimulation and physical activity. Their keen intuition and strong bond with their owners make them wonderful family pets and reliable working dogs in tasks such as herding livestock or in search and rescue missions.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
