DESCRIPTION

Meet Mags,

Mags is in the Adoption Ambassador foster program. Foster families take animals into their homes and help them get adopted. This is what her foster family is saying about her:

Mags is a shy, timid dog who takes her time warming up to new people and places. She’s more of a "hang back and watch first" kind of girl, but once she starts to feel safe, her gentle personality begins to show.

She would do best in a calm home with a patient adopter who won’t rush her. A confident, friendly dog companion would likely help her feel more at ease and give her something steady to follow as she learns the ropes.

With patience and a steady routine, Mags will gradually begin to relax and show her softer, more trusting side.

They come in two coat varieties, rough and smooth, with colors ranging from sable and white to blue merle. Collies excel in obedience training and thrive on mental stimulation and physical activity. Their keen intuition and strong bond with their owners make them wonderful family pets and reliable working dogs in tasks such as herding livestock or in search and rescue missions.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
