Bluey needs another confident dog in the home to teach him the ways of the world.
Notes from Bluey's foster mom:
Hello, my name is Bluey š š¾
Yes, that Blueyāthe handsome boy with the dreamy brown eyes. Try not to fall in love too fast⦠actually, never mind, go ahead.
If youāre thinking about adopting me. Let me tell you why Iām basically the total package (with a little extra personality sprinkled in).
First of all, bedtime? I am a professional cuddler. Im 16 pounds full of adorableness. I will gently curl up and tuck my nose and head into your chest, let out one dramatic big sigh (because being this cute is exhausting), and fall asleep in your arms like I pay rent there.
If you take me out to potty every 2 to 3 hours, I can hold my potty and not have accidents.
Routine is my game and the goal for success in your home.
Iām currently working on gaining a little weight, and let me just say⦠my foster mom hooked me UP with food from JUST FOOD FOR DOGS. When she says, āAre you hungry?ā I lose all composure. Full body wiggle. Lip licking. Pure joy. Itās a whole performance.
Playtime? Oh, Iām FUN fun. Throw a toyāIāll bring it back like a champion. But when you reach for it? Haha⦠not so fast. We must first engage in a brief but very serious game of tug. I will growl (for dramatic effect), pull with determination, and then, fine you may have it back. I also share my toys with other dogs in the house. I need to be fed separately from other dogs because I don't want to worry about other dogs stealing my food. I growl but don't bite.
Iāll be honest, I can be a little shy in new places. Big new world, tiny brave me. Iād love a confident dog buddy to show me the ropes, kind of like a life coach, but fluffier.
Walks are my thing though. I stroll like a gentleman. No pulling, just sniffing grass, appreciating the sun and the trees, living my best peaceful life. Stores and noisy places? Still a work in progress. The vet? Okay⦠we donāt talk about the vet. But give me time. I don't like when you squeeze my paws. But if you go slow and ask for permission, I will be more relaxed. I had a mobile groomer come to the house last week and I did just fine with grooming.
Now⦠music and TV. If you turn them on, I will HOWL. Not because Iām rude, but because I truly believe I can improve the soundtrack. My foster mom is teaching me āinside voice,ā which seems⦠negotiable.
If you stop petting me, I will politely tap your arm for belly rubs. If you ignore me, I will tap again. And again. And again. This is your full time job now. I donāt make the rules.
Iāve got a little neuter appointment coming up (4-15-26 ā), so for now Iām rocking stylish belly bands to prevent any⦠āinterior decorating.ā Sometimes the belly band slips off and not on tight enough, so I hit my mark. Youāre welcome. Once I have my neuter surgery the doctor thinks I will lessen the urge to mark and leave my autograph.
And finallyāthe best part: I am VERY SMART. I already know SIT, DOWN, COME, and OFF. No classes, just raw talent. Imagine what we could accomplish together if we took an obedience class?. We could be a power duo. A legendary team. Possibly famous.
So⦠are you ready to meet your soulmate?
Go ahead. Fill out that application. Its time consuming, but arenāt I worth it?
