Her name is Lucy Goose, and she'd like to know why you're still holding that toy instead of THROWING IT ALREADY.

Lucy Goose is a 1-year-old English Cocker/Springer Spaniel mix who weighs around 25 pounds and has a serious love for fetch. Squeaky toys, soft stuffies and puzzles are all great, but throwing something she can retrieve over and over again is her love language. She knows "give," "go find it" and "where is it," and watching her figure out where a flying toy has landed is pretty darn cute.

Once she decides you're her person, congratulations: you now have a Lucy Goose. Everywhere. She'll sit on your feet in the bathroom, curl up close while you work, and immediately get up when you do because obviously you must be going somewhere important. (Or maybe you're about to throw that toy again. )

Lucy is house-trained, crate-trained, and sleeps in her kennel at night. Tell her it's time to go "outside," and she has a routine: grab a toy, head outside, play a little... then maybe remember why we came out here.

Lucy is partially blind, but she has a real talent for navigating her world. She learns the layout of her surroundings and uses her impressive little nose to track down toys. A home where things stay relatively consistent will help her feel confident, and a fenced yard will give her a safe place to explore and play. She's still learning to walk on a leash, so she'll need someone patient enough to practice with her.

She gets along with other dogs, but cats are still an unknown. Lucy also does well with older kids, but younger children who approach unexpectedly could startle her because of her limited vision.
