This includes our standard adoption fee of $395 plus an additional required $1,000 tax-deductible donation. Why the additional donation? Dogs with highly desirable traits-such as low-shedding coats and popular breeds-help us fund lifesaving care for dogs who need it most, including nursing moms, imaging and surgeries for dogs with traumatic injuries, and medications for those requiring lifesaving heartworm treatments. Your generosity makes this possible!

Suky is an adorable chocolate-colored teddy bear with the softest wavy coat and the happiest little personality. She's cheerful, affectionate, and loves everybody - which is a good thing, because she's so cute that everyone wants to pet her!

She has plenty of adorable puppy energy and loves to play, explore, and bounce around with all the enthusiasm you'd expect from a happy young pup. She thrives on companionship and wants to be included in whatever her humans are doing. Whether it's chasing a ball, going for a walk, tagging along on a car ride, or cuddling on the couch and watching TV, if you're up for it, so is she!

Despite her playful personality, she has done very well respecting the space and boundaries of her foster family's cranky, low-energy dog. She is also fantastic with small kids and doesn't nip during playtime. She would make a wonderful family pet.

Like most young dogs, Suky is still learning the basics of home life. She's working hard on her potty training and is also practicing staying in her crate when her humans leave the house - though she'll be the first to tell you she much prefers when you're home! The good news is that she's smart, eager to please, and learning more every day. She even figured out the dog door quickly.

Suky is looking for a family to return her boundless love and help her grow into the amazing dog she's meant to be!
