Winston has one job, and he takes it very seriously: staying within five feet of you at all times. Kitchen, couch, laundry room - doesn't matter; he's on the case. And when he's really happy to see you, he'll let you know with a few enthusiastic kisses straight to the face.
Closeness is Winston's love language, and he speaks it fluently. That devotion does come with a flip side: he can be a bit clingy and experiences some separation anxiety. He's looking for a family who gets this and is willing to help him build confidence being on his own, through training, routine, and patience. When he's home alone, he'll need a sturdy airline-style travel crate to keep him safe and secure. He settles into his crate just fine for sleep, though he likes to voice his opinions first - usually about 20 minutes of barking, occasionally stretching to an hour if he's feeling extra worked up.
Winston's also rocking a gorgeous coat that needs regular brushing to stay looking sharp. The trade-off is a good one: no shedding, so his grooming needs come without the fur tumbleweeds.
He's easygoing with other dogs and great with kids, so he fits well into a lot of different households.
Winston isn't looking for much - just someone to follow around, sit next to, and love with his whole self. If you want a dog whose loyalty is a full-time job, Winston's ready to clock in.
