POPS is 6-year-old, apricot Cockapoo, which is a mix of a Poodle and a Cocker Spaniel. He was an owner surrender following an eviction. Pops previously lived with 2 other dogs and is wonderful with the dogs in his foster home!
He loves to go for walks, cuddle on the couch, and generally go wherever his person goes. Pops is housetrained and just the sweetest guy you'll ever meet. If you pet him on the couch he'll immediately lean into you and ask for belly rubs. Pops doesn't shed because he's part poodle and would be an excellent addition to any house with kids over 9.
This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is de-wormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick preventatives.
Animal Alliance does not adopt adult dogs (over 9 months old) into households with children under 9 years of age due to the risk of bites. Puppies 9 months of age or younger can be adopted into households with young children ages 4 and older. We do not adopt to families with children 3 years and younger or expectant families due to the safety risk for infants and toddlers.
Prior to submitting an application, please see the Animal Alliance Adoption Process for adoption details.
Animal Alliance is not a shelter where all the animals are housed in one location. Animal Alliance is a foster care network up and animals are housed in many different locations. If you are interested in adopting a pet, please apply using the online application; applicants who call our phone line will hear a recorded voicemail with this identical message. We adopt many animals each week and meet prospective adopters at various locations so they can meet the animals they are interested in.
