• More people‑oriented or independent? Super people-oriented, he lovessss meeting new friends whether they are human or canine. He greets everyone with a kiss !
• How do they handle new situations? Very well. He acclimated to the city almost immediately coming off the van from Texas. He also did amazingly well out at a bar filled with people—he definitely gets his energy from the action!
🐕 Social & Home Life
• How are they with people (adults/kids/new people)? Amazing, Kuma is a very curious boy!
• How are they with other dogs? Kuma loves all dogs!
• Cats or other animals (if known)? Unknown
• Behavior when left alone or when guests visit: Well-behaved. We only had one accident when left alone. He doesn’t bark or whine either.

• Potty trained? Yes
• Crate trained? Unsure
• Leash skills: Very good! Sometimes darts behind you but nothing that can’t be fixed over time
• Commands known (if any): This is something we can work on.
🌞 Daily Life
• Typical day with you: Wake up and go out between 7-8am, first meal, 2 smaller walks and 1 longer walk during the day, nap, second meal, final outing around 9-10p, bed!
• Exercise needs: Kuma loves walks! We would regularly go on 4+ mile walks without a problem. He needs to go out 4-5x times a day.
• Favorite activities or toys: Walking, napping, plush squeaky toys, snacks
🌱 Growth Areas
• Anything they’re still working on? Commands like sit, stay, come
• What helps them succeed? Access to other humans or dogs throughout the day. Cannot emphasize enough how CUDDLY this dog is. He loves to be held like a baby and thrives with human touch, pets, kisses, hugs, etc. He thrives sleeping in bed with his owners and generally just wants to be loved and love others.
🏡 Ideal Home
• Only dog / With dog / Either: Either would work but I think he’d thrive best with a brother or sister!
• Good fit for apartment living? Yes, but would need access to a park nearby or have enough space in the apartment to explore
• Best type of household (active, moderate, calm): active-moderate is best
• What kind of adopter would be the best match? Someone who has a lot of time (or means) to take him out or enroll him in doggy day care. I picture Kuma in a family home with multiple people in the house so he can maximize the love! People who are looking for a cuddly pet need look no further, he is pure heaven!

He is one of the cutest most cuddly dogs I’ve ever met. He is a special boy!
