MY STORY: Meet Canyon! This sweet 3-year-old female Cockapoo is a gentle, sensitive girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe and happy place.

Canyon is very shy and will need a patient adopter who is willing to give her the time and space she needs to build confidence at her own pace. She may also have some sight impairment, so a calm, predictable home will be especially important as she learns her surroundings and settles into a routine.

Because Canyon takes comfort from other dogs, she will require another friendly dog in her forever home to help show her the ropes and give her confidence. A securely fenced yard is also required.

With patience, routine, and the companionship of another dog, we believe Canyon will continue to blossom. She is looking for a quiet, understanding home where she can feel secure and discover just how wonderful life as a cherished family member can be.
