Timber came to us as a stray alongside a mixed group of little and big dogs, and he handled it like a champ.

He'd do best in a home without cats, but if you're looking for a playful, happy-go-lucky pup who lives life on his own terms, Timber might be your guy.

The Chow Chow, a distinctive breed known for its lion like mane and unique blue black tongue, originated in China over 2,000 years ago. These aloof yet loyal dogs are known for their independent nature, dignified demeanor, and protective instincts. Chow Chows require early socialization and training to thrive in a family setting, as they can be stubborn and territorial.
