Huck - Chow Chow Dog for Adoption in Enterprise, Alabama

Will you be the Berry Finn to my Huck?

Meet Huck, a 3–4-year-old, 37 lb possibly-Chow mix who is ready to escape his current chapter and start a new adventure with his very own person!

Huck is sweet, loving, friendly, and goofy. He enjoys running around, playing with his dog friends, collecting pets from his favorite humans, and generally being the handsome little goofball he was born to be.

And look at that résumé!

Good with other dogs
Crate trained
Leash trained
Potty trained
Professional good-boy material

Now, Huck does have a few opinions. For example, if you're home, he'd prefer NOT to be crated. Apparently, if the humans are home, he should be included in the festivities. The audacity! He might complain a little, but he does settle. When nobody is home, he's perfectly fine in his crate.

He's looking for his partner in crime. Someone to play with him, love on him, take him on adventures, and appreciate his goofy little self.

So, who's ready to be the Berry Finn to Huck's Tom Sawyer?

Huck is ready to turn the page and find his happily-ever-after. Could that be with you?

The Chow Chow, a distinctive breed known for its lion like mane and unique blue black tongue, originated in China over 2,000 years ago. These aloof yet loyal dogs are known for their independent nature, dignified demeanor, and protective instincts. Chow Chows require early socialization and training to thrive in a family setting, as they can be stubborn and territorial. With a dense double coat that requires regular grooming and a history as ancient guardians and hunting companions, the Chow Chow remains a fascinating and enigmatic breed in the canine world.
