Meet Nala!

Nala is a 10-month-old Lab/Pit mix who is sweet, social, playful, and full of personality! This girl has plenty of puppy energy and would love an active family who will keep her busy and continue helping her learn all the important things that come with growing up.

Nala is potty trained and crate trained and has been doing great settling into a routine in her foster home. She’s smart, confident, and definitely has a little bit of a sassy streak.

She enjoys other dogs, although her introduction style can best be described as “COMING IN HOT!” Personal space? She’s still learning about that. She can be a little enthusiastic and pushy when making new friends, so slow, appropriate introductions are important. We feel she would do best with a confident male dog who can handle her playful personality, or she would be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as the only pup.

Nala is also great with children! Because she is approximately 10 months old and SUPER bouncy, we recommend children 8+. There’s absolutely no bad intent behind her enthusiasm—she just hasn’t quite figured out that toddlers aren’t built to withstand a full-speed Nala greeting.

Because Nala is a young, high-energy girl, we’re looking for an adopter who has experience with energetic dogs and is comfortable providing structure, exercise, and continued training.

Overall, Nala is a goofy, fun-loving young dog with tons of potential. She just needs someone ready to embrace the puppy chaos, keep her on track, and enjoy everything that comes along with her big personality.
