Candelabra - Chocolate Labrador Retriever Dog Available for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois
CANDELABRA
Chocolate Labrador Retriever
🇺🇸
Chicago, Illinois
June 4th
female, medium, senior
DESCRIPTION
Candelabra is a dream girl.
She has been over fed and over bred. (It is no wonder owner couldnt afford.) Candelabra deserves better. She is an older gal that moves slower but loves deeply. She can often be found splooted across her kennel floor searching with hopeful eyes for anyone to pay her attention. Heartbreak and promises, Candelabra has had more than her share.
Chicago Animal Care and Control is located at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL, and is open from 12pm to 7pm daily. Walk-in visitors are welcome and helped on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are planning to adopt the day you visit, please plan to arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm will still be able to view animals in Pavilions A-B-C until 7pm.
All dogs will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption.
All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers).
We recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s) to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s). Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
