FOXY: Chiweenie Mix | Neuter Male | 3 Years Old | 13 lbs
Foxy is a gentle, calm, and shy little boy with a tender heart. He has a quiet nature and rarely barks, making him a peaceful companion for a calm home. Foxy gets along well with other dogs and is currently learning to walk on a leash, gaining confidence a little more each day.
He shares an especially strong bond with his friend Sally—they comfort and protect one another and would thrive in a home where they can stay together or with another kind, patient dog. Foxy sleeps well in a crate and is slowly discovering the warmth of human love and companionship, something he never experienced before being rescued.
Foxy’s story is one of loyalty and bravery. He was rescued from a group of stray dogs that had gathered around females in heat. Despite being much smaller than the others, Foxy never left Sally’s side and even risked his life to protect her. His devotion and courage are truly remarkable. Now safe, Foxy is ready for a loving, patient family who will give him the time and kindness he needs to fully come out of his shell. With love, he will blossom into a deeply devoted and grateful companion.
