Chloe, was recently surrendered to Rescue by her 82 year-old human. Southern preacher went on craigslist looking for an older dog that would not outlive him, and he found Chloe. He had Chloe for three weeks when he noticed she was getting very fat so he took her to the vet and discovered that she was pregnant! At his age, he did not think that he could manage Chloe and her litter so the vet veterinarian gave him our number.

We took Chloe into our care so that she could wean her Puppies and our plans were to return her, but during the time that she was weaning, her human realized he really couldn't afford to keep her.

Chloe weighed 11 1/2 pounds in June. She's a little thick from eating her food and her puppies food. She is seven years old, she's sweet to the ones she loves and protective (barky) with strangers. Shes still active and playful. She enjoys time outside and time on the back of a couch. She's good with cats and dogs.

Chloe is spayed, heartworm, negative, rabies, other vaccines, dewormed, microchip, and she receives monthly parasite prevention. She is pad trained and goes outside.
