If pocket-sized best friends are your thing, allow us to introduce Lil Nick -- a whopping 5 pounds of pure adorableness.
Nick's first impression is pretty hard to beat. One ear stands proudly at attention while the other flops over like it missed the memo, giving him a permanently charming look that melts hearts everywhere he goes. And then there are those eyes... deep, brilliant blue, like a calm mountain lake at sunrise--wise, soulful & impossibly beautiful. One look into them & you'll understand why everyone falls in love.
Though tiny enough to fit comfortably in your lap (& all blankets), Lil Nick has been blossoming in foster care. Every day he grows a little braver, a little happier, & a little more convinced that the world can be a safe & wonderful place.
His favorite hobby? Following his person from room to room like a tiny, devoted shadow. When the adventures of the day are done, you'll usually find him curled up on a soft blanket nearby, content just being close to the people he loves.
Nick is playful without being pushy, curious without being chaotic & respectful of other dogs. He gets along well with people & enjoys canine friends. He also thinks cats might be fun playmates--which some cats appreciate more than others!
Because Nick came from a hoarding situation, he's still learning that the outside world isn't as scary as it seems. He'll need a patient, understanding adopter who can continue helping him build confidence & discover that life is full of fun things to explore. Potty training is still a work in progress. He uses pee pads quite consistently, but he'll need continued guidance & patience as he learns outdoor potty habits once he's feeling more comfortable venturing outside.
When left alone, Nick settles nicely in his crate & waits patiently for his people to return.
At just 5 pounds, Lil Nick may be tiny, but his capacity for love is enormous. If you're looking for a sweet little companion with one ear up, one ear down, & enough charm to fit into a package smaller than most housecats, Nick might just be your perfect match.
