Meet Rigo!

Rigo is a 5-year-old Chihuahua mix with a sweet, cuddly side that just needs a little time to come out. He can be shy when first meeting new people, but once he decides you’re worthy of his trust, get ready for lots of kisses! Rigo loves to cuddle, follow his person around like a little shadow, and head out for walks.

He does great with small dogs, has a healthy appetite, and keeps his kennel clean. Rigo is currently staying at the hospital while we search for a foster or forever home, so we haven’t had the opportunity to see his potty habits in a home environment just yet.

This sweet boy is ready to trade his hospital stay for a cozy home, a warm lap, and someone to call his own.

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature.
