Meet Guppie, a 1-year-old Chihuahua mix with long legs, a big personality, and enough piss and vinegar to power a small city! This boy is always ready for his next adventure, whether that's hitting the walking trails, exploring the neighborhood, or simply making sure everyone knows he has an opinion.

Guppie is house trained and crate trained, although he'll be the first to tell you that crate time is NOT his favorite activity. He likes his walks, but he's still working on remembering that the leash isn't a sled rope.

He's also learning his doggy manners when meeting new friends. Smaller dogs are more his speed right now, and he'll need continued guidance and positive introductions as he learns to be a polite member of the canine community.

Cats? Absolutely not. Guppie sees them as potential toys, and we don't think the cats appreciate that particular game. He's also a bit of a mouthy little guy, so a home with older, dog-savvy kids would be the better fit.

But don't let his big personality fool you. This little dude could make an AWESOME hiking buddy! He's got the legs, the energy, and the adventurous spirit to keep up with someone who enjoys getting outside and exploring.
