Gets Along With: Magpie gets along with other dogs. We haven't seen her with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters. We do not recommend her for a home with children under the age of 12.
Currently Living at: Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here.

Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think this pup would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure they can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.Magpie is Looking For: Her forever home! Magpie is a sato - a dog from Puerto Rico. She's looking forward to getting a new home in the DC area - one where she gets sniffy walks and a whole lot of love! Right now she's a tad uncertain about all the change and would do best with adopters who Get It and give her what she needs to feel safe and loved in her new space - a day or two for her to settle in and feel comfortable. And then she's awesome. She'd still do best in a home without young children who might be loud or grabby.
