Nala - Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Toronto, Ontario

Nala is a very sweet young adult who is looking for her perfect family. She adores other dogs, and although it isn't necessary she have a canine buddy in her new home, it is important she gets to socialize a fair bit with other friendly dogs.
She loves her people but can be shy when initially meeting them, but warms up quickly. She is a chihuahua mix, albeit a bit larger at 8 kg, but her personality is typical of the breed. Calm in the home, she thoroughly enjoys the back yard and loves to run around, do her roomies and then be on the deck on squirrel patrol.
She is house trained, crate trained (sleeps in the crate) and is non destructive in the home. She thoroughly enjoys car rides and exploring new areas with her foster pawrents and siblings. She is fine with older children who respect her space and understand dog behaviour.

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
