Meet This Adorable Little 'Squirrel'!

At just 1 year old and 9 pounds, this fluffy brown female chihuahua/shih-tzu mix is a playful, curious little package of personality! She’s had limited life experiences, so she can be cautious and skittish with new people, but once she feels safe, she quickly warms up and shows you her sweet, fun side.

She’s learning about leash walking and is equally excited and cautious about exploring the world. She’s pee pad trained and learning to potty outside. A fenced in yard would be best for her and she is not suited to an apartment.

She sleeps nicely in her crate at night, but her favourite place is probably being held by her person—with plenty of belly rubs, please!

She does well with other small dogs and would love a small, confident canine sibling to follow and learn from, although she could also be happy as an only dog if her people are home most of the time. She hasn’t met a cat yet, but may do well with one given a proper introduction.

She’d do best with older, dog-savvy kids who understand that she needs a little time to feel comfortable. She may be tiny, but she’s not afraid to stand her ground!

This sweet little girl is curious, playful, cuddly, and ready to find the patient, loving forever family she deserves.

Think she could be your little sidekick? Apply to adopt her today! Give her the safe, loving home where she can build confidence, discover the world, and finally settle in with her forever people.
