Meet Pawcasso!

Pawcasso is a 2-year-old, 19 lb Chihuahua mix. He is making progress, but it is a very slow journey, and he is still very timid and not ready to be touched or petted much just yet.

Pawcasso lives on his own timeline, but his wonderful personality is shining through:

• He is fully potty trained! He goes outside whenever he needs to do his business and comes right back inside.

• He will occasionally come out to gently take a peanut butter treat right from his foster mom’s hand.

• He gets excited when his foster mom comes home and runs up with the other dogs, tail wagging!

•...But as soon as the excitement settles, he runs right back behind the couch to hide with his treat.

He needs a quiet, predictable home that will let him just exist without forcing affection. He absolutely loves other dogs and requires a securely fenced yard.

Background Check We review applications and conduct a background check.

Meet and Greet Approved applicants are invited to meet the pet and given a day or two to think about the adoption before making their decision.

Adoption Agreement & Fee & Photo If its a good fit, youll complete an adoption contract and submit the adoption fee and a photo of you and your new family member.

Home Check We require a quick home check to ensure a safe environment.

10-Day Trial Adoption Take your new pet home for a 10-day trial period to make sure its the right match.
