Phoebe is Looking for Her Forever Home or permanent foster.
Sweet Phoebe has been through so much in her life. She was rescued from a high-kill shelter carrying a massive tumor the size of a bowling ball due to years of neglect. Despite everything she endured, she remains one of the happiest, most loving little girls youll ever meet.
Phoebe was adopted and loved, but sadly her mom underwent a heart transplant and is no longer able to care for her. Through no fault of her own, Phoebe is once again searching for a loving home.
About Phoebe:
Approximately 1012 years old
Spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped
Takes Vetmedin twice daily for a heart condition
Loves car rides and will happily curl up in her car seat and nap
Walks beautifully on leash
Loves her meals and is beginning to enjoy treats and cookies
Gets along well with other dogs
Bonds quickly with her people and loves being close to them
Very affectionate and loves giving kisses
Enjoys being picked up for cuddles but prefers not to be carried for long periods
Quiet and apartment-friendly she rarely barks
No separation anxiety; when you leave, shell simply find a cozy spot and sleep until you return
Has her own bed that she loves
A few things to know:
Phoebe does resource guard her food, which is understandable given her past.
If she doesnt see you leave the house, she may go looking for you and could try to slip out a door in search of her person.
