Meet Liam!

Liam is an adorable 10yo 8lb golden colored Chihuahua. He is neutered vaccinated and chipped and ready for adoption.

Liam was surrendered by an owner who loved him, but is now wheelchair bound and could not care for him. He had not been outside in over a year as she couldn't manage it so she gave him up for a better life.

He's doing great in foster care, acclimating well.

Liam is a gentle soul. He is respectful and cautious around other dogs never pushy. He absolutely loves his people and is the first to look for cuddles and lap time. He's favorite spot to sleep is right next to you in your bed.

Leash walking is new for him, but he enjoys short walks with a pack. He really enjoyed a recent nature walk happy to slide into a sling pouch to enjoy the view when he was too tired to continue.

Liam is pad trained and he is now learning to go outside as well.

He doesn't have many teeth and what he does have are terrible so we are giving him a dental in August. Any adopter must commit to bringing him to Stamford for his dental.

Liam is sweet shy boy who would love a soft spot to land ideally with people home more than not. He would thrive with other friendly sweet dogs or as an only.

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
