Skipper - Chihuahua and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Spokane, Washington
SKIPPER
Chihuahua, Mixed Breed

June 5th
male, small, young
DESCRIPTION
At just 10 months old, Skipper still very much a puppy with a soft, gentle heart. He can be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, he slowly starts to open up and show how loving and tender he really is.
He came in with five other pups who have all already found their homes, and Skipper is still here patiently waiting for his turn... and honestly, it's hard to understand why, because he's such a special boy.
When Skipper arrived, he did have cherry eye, but our vets were able to successfully remove it and he's healed up great since then.
Outside is where he truly shines. He lights up when he gets to run, explore, and just take in the world around him-it's like you can see his little heart feel free.
He's done well with other dogs here and may really enjoy a canine friend to play and explore with. We don't have any history with cats at this time.
Skipper is ready for someone to see him, love him, and finally give him the home he's been waiting for.
ABOUT: CHIHUAHUA DOG BREED
The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
