DESCRIPTION
Orville is a 4-month-old Chihuahua mix puppy who weighs just 312 pounds. This tiny little guy came to us from a local shelter after being rescued from a hoarding case. He was one of 30 dogs who had spent much of their lives confined to crates, arriving at the shelter frightened and covered in urine and feces.
Over the past few weeks in foster care, Orville has absolutely blossomed. With lots of love, good nutrition, medicated baths, and gentle care, his skin is healing, his coat is looking better, and his confidence grows every single day. He's discovering that the world can be a safe and happy place.
Like any good Chihuahua, Orville has a little sassy streak to go along with his sweet, cuddly personality. At just 312 pounds at 4 months old, we expect him to stay a very small dog.
Several of Orville's siblings, along with what may be his mother and other dogs from the same hoarding case, were also rescued and are thriving in foster homes. We're incredibly grateful to our local shelter for stepping in, giving these dogs the care they desperately needed, and helping them begin their journey to better lives.
Now Orville is ready for the next chapter—a forever home filled with patience, love, and plenty of snuggles. If you're looking for a tiny puppy with a huge heart and an adorable, mischievous personality, Orville might just be your perfect match.
