As the years went on, his eyes clouded with age and his hearing dulled, but what has remained constant is the steady, loving presence in his heart. This distinguished gentleman isn't asking for much, just a warm spot to snooze and a step outside now and then to feel the sun on his fur. Grommet can be a little nervous when approached by unfamiliar dogs or people, but will blossom into your forever friend with slow, gentle introductions. His world always feels uncertain so he's looking for a constant, comforting presence to let him know that everything will be okay. Can you make Grommet's dream come true?

Grommet feels like a cute little cartoon character! He makes the cutest little noises when he is making his bed. He walks very carefully like a baby tarantula, carefully placing his feet every step. He is learning to walk on a leash. He can do stairs quite well if you guide him up them. He goes potty immediately if you take him outside. He's had very few accidents. He's happy to be in bed but also after a few days wanted to cuddle on the couch with us!
