COQUIS - Chihuahua and Rat Terrier Dog for Adoption in San Diego, California

Coquis is a 7-year-old little boy who weighs only 10 pounds, but has a big
personality! He is very loving and affectionate to his pack whether it be dogs or humans, but it takes him a while to warm up to visitors and other dogs. Coquis is very playful, and absolutely loves tennis balls!

Although playful, Coquis is a huge cuddle bug and will snuggle with you on the couch to watch a movie or just relax. If you pet him, just know he will nudge your hand so that you don't stop!

Coquis would do best in a household that has room for him to decompress if there are visitors and would do best in a lower traffic environment. Overall, he is a loving dog that loves attention and his people!

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are set to support the sustainability of our rescue program. All adoption fees include the DAPP vaccine series, Bordetella, rabies, spay/neuter, microchip, and deworming.

Applications are reviewed and responded to within 72 hours of submission. As an all-volunteer organization, we appreciate your patience throughout the process. Selected applicants will be contacted to schedule a call and discuss next steps. We are committed to finding the most appropriate match for each dog.
