Meet Hokey!
Hokey is a sweet little blond Chihuahua that is in a perfectly lap-sized package. She may be a little bigger than your average Chihuahua, but she is still just the right size to be your cozy companion.
This lovely girl is a bit reserved at first and likes to take her time getting to know new people. Once she feels comfortable with you, Hokey is happy to accept pets and enjoy the affection she has learned to trust.
Calm, curious, and quietly charming, Hokey enjoys observing the world around her and taking in all the sights and sounds at her own pace. She would love a patient family who will give her the time she needs to settle in and show her sweet personality.
If you're looking for a gentle companion who will reward your patience with trust, affection, and loyal companionship, Hokey may be the perfect little friend to curl up beside you.
Disclaimer: The information in this profile reflects observations made while this dog has been in our shelter environment. We strive to describe each dog as accurately as possible; however, behavior and needs may change once the dog is in a new home, routine, or environment. Our dogs are not freeroaming in homes. When we note that a dog is "potty trained," this refers to reliable crate training, not confirmed freeroam house training. Accidents are normal during the transition to a new home, and additional training should be expected. All dogs are examined by our veterinarian, are spayed or neutered if old enough, and are up to date on ageappropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption. We share all known medical information, but we cannot guarantee future health or rule out underlying conditions.
ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.happyfacespetranch.org
Once your application has been approved, a representative will be in touch to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog based on the dog's individual needs.
