This sweet little girl is ready to find a home where she can finally relax, feel safe, and let her personality shine!
Campfire is an adorable 4-year-old Chihuahua mix who came to us from a hoarding situation. The world is still a pretty big and scary place for this little lady, so she can be very shy and timid at first. But once she feels comfortable, her sweet side starts to sparkle!
Campfire absolutely enjoys being held and cuddled, but she needs her humans to take things slow and gentle. Fast movements can be scary for her, so she’s looking for someone who understands that trust takes time.
She has lived with other dogs and could potentially have a canine friend in her new home, although larger dogs can make her a little nervous. Because of her shy nature, Campfire would do best in a quiet, low-traffic home without young children where she can take her time getting comfortable.
She’s still learning all about this whole leash-walking thing, but she has discovered one of her favorite activities: being carried outside and lounging in the grass!
Campfire may need a little extra time, patience, and reassurance, but we have a feeling that once she knows she’s safe, this little girl is going to blossom into the sweetest, happiest companion.
