Abby is an adorable 8 year old, 15-pound girl looking for a loving place to call home. After the heartbreaking loss of her owner, she’s hoping to find a new family to give her all the love she deserves.

Abby is a professional cuddler who loves giving kisses, playing tug-of-war with her favorite knotted sock, and finding the perfect sunny spot for a cozy nap. She enjoys spending time outside and will happily remind you that going potty deserves a treat!

A little about Abby:
8 years old and just 15 pounds
Spayed and up to date on vaccinations
Housebroken
Loves cuddles, kisses, and outdoor time
Can adapt to living with other dogs, though she may need time to warm up
Has some separation anxiety and needs a patient, understanding home

Abby would thrive in a quieter household, ideally with a retired person or couple who can give her the companionship and attention she craves. She can be nervous around unfamiliar people, so she’ll need a family willing to respect her boundaries and help her feel safe. She may chase cats and isn’t the best fit for a home with young, active children.

Abby has already experienced the loss of the person she loved most. Let’s help her find a soft place to land and a family who will love her for the rest of her life.
