At 12 years old and just 9 pounds, Shrimp is the kind of little dog whose sweet, frosted face makes you want to scoop him up and never let go.
But Shrimps journey hasnt been easy. He arrived at the Maricopa County shelter with severe dental disease and a painful sore in the roof of his mouth. He was miserable and was placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, Home Fur Good stepped in.
With the help of their top-notch dental clinic, Shrimp lost his teeth, but gained something far more important: a mouth free from pain and infection. And what a difference it has made! His tail is wagging, he eagerly seeks out affection, and he absolutely loves being held. He enjoys his meals again, too, and hes not shy about reminding you when its time for dinner!
Shrimps quality of life has changed immensely. Now, all he needs is someone to give him what every senior dog deserves: a loving home where he can feel safe, cherished, and adored for the rest of his days.
