Bessie is a sweet little Chihuahua mix with a gentle soul and a heart that just needs a little time to feel safe. Born around 5/6/24 and weighing about 15 pounds, Bessie came to us through a shelter transport from another area in hopes of finding the loving home she deserves.

She can be a bit standoffish when meeting new people or adjusting to new surroundings, but once she’s had a couple of days to settle in, her personality begins to shine, and she becomes much more comfortable and affectionate. Bessie is looking for a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time.

Bessie also has a leash aversion and will need continued patience and positive reinforcement to help her gain confidence with walking on a leash. With a calm environment, consistency, and kindness, she has all the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion.

Amazing Grace Bully Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Pensacola, Florida. We do not have a physical building. If you want to meet any of our pups, the first step is to complete our online application, and someone from the Rescue will contact you.

is current on shots, dewormed, heartworm negative, spayed, and has a registered microchip.
