They found Red in a trailer park. A skinny little boy roamed the streets, looking for food and a safe place to sleep. No one knows how long he begged for food. Until a person who moved there saw him. Now he was fed and loved, loved by the whole neighborhood, but still outside.
Then we heard about him, and we are, as we are, he needed to be picked up and find a home.
We fully vetted him: vaccinated and neutered. He was tested for heartworm, and we are happy to report he tested negative!
In a few days, he will go to his foster home.
He is very sweet, playful, and good with dogs and humans. Tolerating cats.
He is smart: he learned quickly to do his business outside, is crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash.
Estimated to be between 8 months and one year old, 13 lbs, Chihuahua mix.
Red is ready to go home. Our next transport arrives on October 31st.
