Meet the Jiggle Puppies: There’s Always Room for Dessert!
A little Mousse, a spoonful of Pudding, perhaps a helping of Panna Cotta? Our dessert menu comes with tiny paws, excellent cuddle potential, and absolutely no understanding of portion control when it comes to cuteness.
The Jiggle puppies are 8 week old Chihuahua mixes who came to DPS at just four weeks old with their mama, Jiggle. Mom weighs a whopping 7 pounds, so this family specializes in small servings! The puppies currently weigh about 3–4 pounds each, and we expect them to remain small, though their adult sizes aren’t guaranteed.
Small Puppies, Sweet Beginnings
These little ones have been growing up in foster care with two children, ages 7 and 12, and a tabby cat who has become an honorary member of the puppy crew. They happily play and cuddle with their feline friend and have had a lovely introduction to family life.
Their days begin around 6 AM with breakfast and a potty break and wrap up around 9 PM with their final meal and trip outside. They eat three meals a day, currently a mixture of wet food and kibble, with extra kibble available between meals. Lately, crunchy food has been climbing the popularity charts!
They’re also learning that potty business belongs outdoors. Frequent trips outside have helped establish a good routine, and their adopters will need to continue those regular breaks as they grow.
Mousse: The Independent Taste Tester
Mousse has places to go, things to sniff, and a very busy schedule of investigating absolutely everything. Confident, active, and curious, she loves a good wrestling match with her siblings—but once that meeting concludes, she’s off to conduct his own research.
This little adventurer isn’t easily fazed. She’s a quick learner who knows his routine and brings an independent streak to the puppy party. If Mousse could leave a note on the refrigerator, it would read: “Gone exploring. Back for dinner.”
Panna Cotta: Smallest Serving, Biggest Entrance
Panna Cotta may be the smallest puppy, but apparently nobody has informed her. She approaches life with enormous enthusiasm, plenty of affection, and a running speed that leaves her siblings wondering whether they missed the starting whistle.
Playful, friendly, and fearless, this tiny girl greets people with excitement and loves joining the family cat for some fun. By the time the others reach the yard, she may already be on her second lap. A little fluff, a lot of personality, and no intention of being overlooked!
Custard: The Handsome Softie
Custard is the biggest puppy in the litter—a title that should be understood within the context of a family whose mother weighs seven pounds.
He’s playful and adventurous, with a wonderfully gentle way about him. He enjoys his siblings, welcomes affection, and is particularly fond of cuddling with the cat. Why challenge your feline friend to a wrestling match when you could settle in together instead?
Happy-go-lucky and handsome, Custard offers a delicious combination of puppy fun and sweetness.
Pudding: The Fine Art of Taking It Easy
Pudding is the second-largest of the bunch and sees no reason to rush through a perfectly lovely day. He’s playful and curious, but participation in every sibling wrestling tournament? Entirely optional.
Sometimes he joins the fun; sometimes he watches the entertainment before deciding whether it deserves his involvement. He’s an affectionate cuddle bug who knows how to balance a little adventure with a comfortable place to relax. Pudding takes life at his own sweet speed—and would love someone to share it with.
Jello: A Sweetheart Worth Waiting For
Jello likes to get his bearings before jumping into something new. He’s an observant little fellow who watches his siblings’ adventures, considers his options, and occasionally concludes that a nap is the most sensible choice.
Gentle attention and reassurance help this shy sweetheart feel comfortable. Once he knows he’s safe, his playful personality emerges, and he joins the puppy shenanigans. His future family will get the pleasure of watching his confidence grow, one little adventure at a time.
A Little Dessert, A Lifelong Best Friend
Each Jiggle puppy is looking for a separate forever home with patient people ready for puppy training, frequent potty breaks, gentle handling, and plenty of affection. Their tiny size calls for care underfoot and thoughtful supervision around children and larger animals.
Whether your taste runs toward an intrepid Mousse, a speedy Panna Cotta, a cuddly Custard, an easygoing Pudding, or a tenderhearted Jello, there’s a very sweet little companion waiting to meet you.
